Homeopathy
“The ideal of cure is the speedy, gentle and enduring restoration of health by the most trustworthy and least harmful way” Dr Samuel Hahnemann
What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy was founded by an esteemed German physician - Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843).
Dr Hahnemann worked as a doctor, translated and published numerous medical texts, and devoted much of his time to chemical and pharmacological experiments. His experiences and experiments ultimately led him to develop a new form of medicine, known as homoeopathy. His work ‘Organon of the Art of Healing, published in 1810, is regarded as the first work documenting the fundamental principles of homoeopathy.
Homeopathy is a natural system of medicine that uses very small amounts of natural diluted and energised substances.
When matched with your individual symptoms they can trigger an energetic self healing response in the body.
A remedy is allocated by spending time listening to and understanding the client as a whole - not just looking at a named disease or condition.
”Not individual symptoms, but the totality determines the choice of the remedy” Samuel Hahnemann
The remedy is prescribed by matching the persons individual life style and presenting symptoms (physical, mental and emotional), with a natural substance that in larger doses can causes similar symptoms in a healthy person - supporting the philosophy that ‘like treats like’.
Homeopathy is the second largest system of medicine in the world and is used by Over 200 million people, including the Royal Family and is recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
